Amazing! A few of these were already in my to-play wishlist, and I just added all the ones I didn't know to it. With the ones I do know, 100% agree with you (about removing the monsters from Cartographers as well).

I also feel like Flatout Games has really been hitting all the right notes when it comes to cozy, puzzly, aesthetically-pleasing games: first Calico, then Cascadia, then Verdant. And even Fit to Print, which is a real-time competitive game, has a turn-based mode that makes it a lot more chill. Wish I could play more of their smaller games, but it's always too expensive to import. Fruit Salad is the only one that came out in Brazil, and we also love it for some light fun.

Thank you! Flatout Games really does hit all the right notes — just enough crunch to be interesting and replayable, and just light enough that it's easy to introduce new people to the game. That's such a hard balance to strike! I still haven't played Verdant (it's been sitting sadly on the shelf) but I do need to get it to the table as soon as I'm home from vacation.

And yeah — Cartographers I think suffers a lot from the monsters. It's such a perfect game without them!

Nice list, Matt. I need to check out a few of these. I'd also suggest Beacon Patrol as a cozy, co-op tile layer.
